It's important to find the right photographer for your big day. Based near Blandford Forum, Dorset in the United Kingdom, I've been shooting weddings since 2002, and in Lyme Regis since 2009, ceremony and reception, and then portraiture in the cliff-top gardens, on the beach and, of course, on the Cobb. My style is to be as unobtrusive as possible and to help create timeless images of your day. I combine documentary style images to capture the emotions and spontaneity of your day with a number of shots which, although organised by me, are aiming always to keep a natural, relaxed feel. If you think my style is right for your day then just drop me a line and I'd be delighted to talk further with you.
A beautiful sunny day greeted Alison & Mark for their wedding ceremony at the Alexandra Hotel in Lyme Regis, followed by a reception in the hotel's cliff-top gardens. We were able to go down to the beach later in the day to make the most of the gentle evening light.
Photography began for me when, as a child, my father who was at the time a sales rep for a camera manufacturer, gave me a 35mm film camera. The seed was sown. Over the years I've shot weddings around the UK as well as the Austrian Alps. It's a privileged job and I get to spend time with people on a significant day in their lives. When I'm not shooting I like to practise Italian cooking and conversation as well as cycling around the Dorset countryside fuelled by an ample supply of chocolate flapjacks.
Tell me as much as you can about your wedding or event, your date and photos required. I look forward to hearing from you.
